Tandem Students Volunteer at VIA

November 15, 2013 | Family Resource Navigator

A group of students from Tandem Friends School is helping VIA make a difference in the lives of people with autism.

Tandem is partnering with VIA’s Family Resource Navigator, Hilary Nagel, to plan 3 volunteer days at VIA. The students will also volunteer at events like VIA’s pancake breakfasts and 5K, and host drives to benefit VIA students at their school.

Tuesday the students toured the James C. Hormel School and met with VIA staff members. They prepared packets for an upcoming outpatient clinic, cut out trees for VIA’s Angel Tree initiative, and organized the Latham & Watkins Library.

Thank you, Tandem volunteers for your hard work!
