August 3-10- No Services- August Break

August 7- Sensory Friendly Production of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night- 6600 Blackwells Hollow Rd, Crozet, VA 22932 from 3:30-5:30 PM. The Blue Ridge Actor’s Guild is proud to present a very special edition of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night. The 90-minute production will take place in an outdoor place at Willdrock in Crozet. The performance will be sensory-friendly and will represent an accommodating environment for audience members with special needs.

Social Distancing Measures include Individual seating areas on the grass reserved for families that will be marked out six-feet apart by landscaping flags. All Staff Volunteers are required to wear masks at all times. Click HERE to reserve tickets!

August 13- Virtual Seminar: Autism and Executive Functioning- Zoom seminar from 3:00-3:45 PM. Executive functioning skills can be challenging for children and adults on the autism spectrum to master. These include: planning ahead, problem solving, thinking in hypotheticals, staying organized, and being flexible. This interactive webinar will discuss commonly seen executive functioning difficulties, tips to improve executive functioning abilities, and resources to support learning new executive functioning skills for individuals on the autism spectrum.
