November 1 – 5:00 -7:00 pm. Special Needs Trusts and Guardianship Workshop @ JCH School. This workshop will be led by Attorney Neal Walters, and will go over the pros & cons of Special Needs Trust, when a guardianship should be considered, the process for getting guardianship, and other information pertaining to trusts and guardianship. November 4 – 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm. Learn to Row Workshop for Individuals with Disabilities @ 276 Woodlands Rd, Charlottesville, VA 22901. November 10 – 11:00 am. Sensory – Friendly Screening of Disney’s The Aristocats @ Culbreth Theater. The Virginia Film Festival has partnered with the Autism Theatre Project to offer a free, sensory-friendly screening of The Aristocats. November 11 – 9:00 am – 12:30 pm. Live and Learn Information and Resource Fair @ PVCC Main Building, 501 College Drive. Hear our Director of Clinical Services, Einar Ingvarsson, talk about Applied Behavior Analysis at this free PREP/Parent Resource Center event that will include informational sessions on topics pertaining to individuals with special needs. November 17 – 8:30-10:30 am. Parent Safety Care Training Booster @ JCH School. This Booster is for parents that have already participated in day 1 and/or day 2 of safety care training.
