VIA has benefited from Keith’s financial acumen and from his commitment to community service since he joined the board in 2015. In July of that year he began serving as Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee.
Keith and his wife Sheryl have two adult sons and a grandson. Aside from spending time with their grandchild, one of their great joys is volunteering and assisting others. “It’s what we feel called to do,” says Keith. They have volunteered through their former place of worship, Spring Hill Baptist Church, and are currently members of Grace Community Church. Keith has served as Treasurer of Area II Special Olympics for over a decade.
As a Partner in the accounting firm Hantzmon Wiebel, Keith is in charge of Small Business Accounting Support Services, where he specializes in accounting and tax issues for profit and nonprofit organizations. He holds a degree in accounting from Virginia Tech, and is a member of both the American Institute of Public Accountants and the Virginia Institute of Public Accountants.
