Rob C. Masri

Rob is a 1996 graduate of UVA Law School. After working in corporate and securities law with a number of firms near Washington D.C., Rob moved back to Charlottesville in 2004. He served as Chief Development Officer for the University of Virginia Law School Foundation during its $150 million capital campaign, and he has raised millions of dollars in venture money for startups. He is Founder of Cardagin Networks, Inc., a company that pioneered the use of mobile technology for customer loyalty and rewards programs.

Rob brings to VIA’s board a combination of legal, entrepreneurial, and fundraising expertise. He joined the board in 2013, and is Chair of our Advancement (formerly Philanthropy) Committee.

Rob lives in Charlottesville with his wife Natalie, daughter Mira, and twin sons Felix and Xavier. As with his family and his work commitments, Rob’s service on our Board is driven by inspiration. “I’ve worked with non-profits over the years,” he says. “A lot of them tend to be focused on future generations. With VIA, the impact is today. We are changing lives today.”
