Classroom Supervisor (Behavior Analyst)

The Virginia Institute of Autism’s James C. Hormel School, a non-profit organization located in Charlottesville, has a current opening for a full-time Classroom Supervisor!  We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, talented person who is dedicated to helping people overcome the challenges of autism.

The Classroom Supervisor is ultimately responsible for student progress, staff competence, and parent satisfaction; as well as supervising school staff in their efforts to achieve the best possible outcomes for the students served and creating a culture of excellence at the James C. Hormel School.

Qualifications include bachelor’s degree in special education, psychology or related field; Board Certified Behavior Analyst or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst; valid Virginia license in Behavior Analysis; extensive knowledge and skills in applied behavior analysis and evidence-based strategies for learners with autism and other developmental disabilities.
